For my portfolio website, I wanted to create a bio in a different way than just typing out a description of my life. I find it very hard to capture effectively my life as a blurb, and showing all the key parts in my life visually and in a timeline form for you to distil as you wish seems more appropriate.

I actually created it several months back, but I wanted to share it with you here.

    This is very cool
    Well done!

    Thanks shawn!

Nice. I will have to dig it up but there was somebody from the design academy in eindhoven who made a huge graph like this with all the people he ever met. It toke up a few walls.
IT also reminds me of memolane.com

But this is a very cool graph as a cv.

Wow, sounds like a maddening project to put together. Would love to check it out, please let me know if you find it.

Never knew about Memolane, looks fantastic! Busy trying it out now. Thanks

Looks really cool – didn’t know you were at afda.

Wonder if there’s a way of ‘folding’ it – a bit hard to digest all of it on a big screen. Infographics are really tricky.

Yeah, did my undergrad there. Did you go as well?

Folding it would be rad, but a ton of extra work, which I don’t have time for. I kinda like though, having to travel through a big page to find info.

Drooza, I’ve seen this one before so I can’t really say anything new except I notice that I don’t appear anywhere on the timeline. Is because I’m Indian? On a serious note though, you know I like the concept. The one thing that could be cool to think about adding is bubble or video related to every node. So if I click on a node a speech bubble or video pops up that provides additional information. Later

There are so many things I could do… I know :-) But the time it would take is not well spent. I would rather be working on new design projects. This is part of the “some day” pile.
