Thanks for dropping by. My name is Andrew Spitz, I’m a sound designer, sound effects recordist and programmer. I spend most of my time involved in sound design. I just plain old love it!

Many hours of learning, frustrations and eureka moments should be shared. These are some of the reasons why I started this blog. I will post techniques I have learned and am learning, and various interesting things that come my way. I hope to feedback to you what I learn.

I welcome any comments, whether you want to disagree or add to the mix, I will be very happy for you to get involved.

@juan carlos thanks for the kind words. The gear in that photo is a Fostex FR2 recorder and a Sennheiser MKH 418s mic. I since then got a Sound Devices 702, which I’m very fond of!
